Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Shipwright (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Shipwright is an AI app builder: you describe an application, the Service generates it, lets you preview and edit it, and can publish it to a public URL. Building, running and hosting applications uses third-party infrastructure operated on our behalf; you interact only with Shipwright.

3. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Credits and payments

Certain actions (creating an app, prompts, publishing, rebuilds and similar operations) consume platform credits. Credits are purchased in packs and are prepaid.

Credits are spent when an operation succeeds; a failed operation is not charged. Purchased credits are non-transferable and, except where your local law requires otherwise, non-refundable once partially or fully consumed. Prices may change; changes never affect credits you have already bought.

5. Your projects and content

You own the applications and content you create with the Service. You grant us only the limited right to store, process and transmit them as needed to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for your projects: what they contain, what they do, and any data you collect with them. Do not use the Service to build or distribute anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes the rights of others.

6. Acceptable use

You may not: attack or probe the Service or its infrastructure; resell access without permission; attempt to exceed fair use of shared resources (rate limits may apply); reverse-engineer the Service to compete with it; or use it to generate content that violates applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice where reasonably necessary.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided as-is and as-available. We may add, change or discontinue features. Published apps may become temporarily or permanently unavailable if the underlying operation is interrupted.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data or profits.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
